| Miles spreading his brand of Golden Therapy |
|
|
Hi Dennis, it's Lizz Wodrich and Winston (from your Spooky Buddy's litter -- Winston is the one not in the movie!) just stopping by to say hello. Winston is THE most amazing dog, a constant delight and
endlessly amusing. He completed both puppy kindergarten and the AKC
STAR puppy program with flying colors. We are working towards our Canine Good Citizen award, and once he is 18 months old we plan to
train as a therapy team. We take him with us everywhere that we can,
and he loves to be petted and admired. When meeting with children and
small dogs he usually lies down so as to be at their level. There are
several restaurants around town where Winston is known by name to all.
His favorite things to do are to chase balls and float on his raft in
our pool -- I've attached a picture of this. He climbs up onto the
raft and will float happily for long periods of time. He is SO smart.
You can almost watch him figuring things out when he's presented with a challenge. We will be heading up to our house in North Carolina soon, and I know he'll love it there. A creek to splash in, cows to
chase and 80 acres to hike on, what's not to love? We are going to
stop half way up in Columbia, South Carolina to stay the night. The hotel is pet friendly, but only for pets under 20 pounds. Except for Winston. He made such a good impression in the fall when we stopped there that the manager of the hotel called us to say that Winston would be welcome at any time. Such is his allure.
Once again thank you for Winston. You can't imagine how many people
stop us to tell us what a beautiful dog he is, and how wonderful he is.
But we already know that.
Lizz and Mike Wodrich

Good Afternoon Dennis,
This is Patrick and Kelly, checking in with our great puppy, Bentley. We apologize for not checking in sooner, we were studying for the bar all summer long, which we finished towards the end of July. Bentley has been an absolutely perfect dog. He is very calm, gentle, and well natured. He has a fantastic personality, he is always doing something to make us laugh. And his playful demeanor is great too, but he does enjoy his fair share of naps!! We could not be happier with him. People are always stopping us on walks commenting on how BIG his paws are and how great looking he is. We have attached some pictures of Bentley so you can see how he has progressed from when we first got him until now, at 8 months.
We were wondering how much Bentley should weigh at around 8 months? Thanks for your help and for the GREAT dog!!

Hey Dennis- good morning just wanted to drop you a line. How did you end up doing at the West Palm Show? I have attached a picture of Casey showing his adorable self! His training is coming along great! He has an excellent demenaor and temperment but still playful and fun! He is quick to pick up on new tricks and has down sit, lay, rollover, paw and we are working on crawl. He is already over 20lbs and just over 10 weeks old! How big is his dad, Yukon? Thanks again for such a wonderful new member to the family!

Hi Dennis: I wanted to share with you some photos of Sophie (Jeter and Heidi' puppy). She really has her mother's personality as she is so sweet and loving, but very energetic. Everyone is crazy about her. She often goes to the Court House with Bill and she has become like a rock star there. I wanted to share some photos with you. Thank you again for the most wonderful puppy we have ever had.

| Shooter, Christmas |
|
|
Hi Dennis. I thought you might enjoy these pictures of Shooter. He is a joy! As of Saturday he weighed 40 1/2 lbs. at 18 weeks! I think he's going to be a big boy! Do you have an idea of how big we should expect him to be based on his current size and age?
He is very healthy. He has learned several commands, his name of course, "come", "sit", to shake paws, "down", "stop", "no" of course, which he heard a lot in the first few weeks, and we are working on retrieving. He's doing very well with it.
He loves water! He tries to catch it out of the water hose and plays in it every chance he gets. He is very social and good with other animals and people. He doesn't jump up, he doesn't beg and he doesn't chew anything except his toys.
We have not neutered him and have decided to take you advice and wait a full year. We did send in his AKC papers and registered him as "Eagleridge's Shot Through the Heart "Shooter", in keeping with his dad, Roulette.
Thanks again Dennis for providing us with such a beautiful and wonderful companion. We'll continue to update you as he grows before our eyes!
Always,
Joannie Witt

Hey Dennis, just a quick note to let you know that Maggie is doing great! She saw the vet today, and everything went well! I met a lady there with her 2 golden retrievers, and she got one of them from you! His name is Kudas, or something like that, and he's 2 years old! Anyways, what a small world.... we joked how our 2 dogs could be related! I ordered the dog food you recommended, and it arrived today. Husband is walking her now.... hopefully she's earning a treat! I attached a few photos for you.

Hi Dennis,
I just want to send you a note and let you now how incredibly happy we are with our puppy, Lacey. We brought her home in October from Yukon x Penelope and she is everything we wished for. Not only does she have a great temperment, but she is beautiful, sweet and very smart. After 1 week home, she no longer needed any late trips outside and she was fully housebroken after about 4-5 weeks!
Everywhere we go people tell us "she's the cutest puppy I've ever seen!" I know we are partial, but we really do think she's the cutest puppy we've ever seen too!!! We can't thank you enough for producing these wonderful puppies and we are always sure to mention Eagleridge when people ask about Lacey. I've attached a couple pictures so you can see how big she's getting and how beautiful she is!
Best Regards,
Kelly and Brian Wehner

Dennis and Sharon,
If you've already gotten these pics I apologize. I sent them to several people from the picasa website and nobody got them. We just wanted to show you how our beautiful doggie has grown. Everyone stops and comments on her. I've had people driving down our block when I'm walking her and stopped their car and got out just to pet her and say how beautiful she is.
She goes to puppy classes and the trainer said that you can really tell she comes from a great breeder.
So thank you again. Feel free to put her pictures us on you referral web site if you want to.

Dennis - Just wanted to give you a status report that Kira averaged an 84 at the CCA event the other week. We also got her TDI certification to go along with her CGC. We may start competing next year in rally, obedience, and agility depending on how things go. Thanks - Kim & Kira

Dennis and Sharon,
Here's a photo from Sunday that we thought you might like. Please feel free to use it in any way.
We're absolutely thrilled with Molly! She is the most wonderful pup we could ever imagine. The trainer came over today and said we don't need him until she's old enough for his group class in a few weeks, just as you predicted. She is so loving, eager to please, well trained, and absolutely gorgeous. I took her out today and drew a crowd of admirers. A number of our friends have come over to see her, and she instantly steals their heart, adults and children alike. Glenn Finnell gave her medical clearance yesterday and thought I'd made a great choice.
Thanks for providing to us such a truly special new member of our family. See you at Thanksgiving.
Sincerely,
Susan and Ed Baxa

Thank you Dennis,
I know this is a long time since Murphy" joined our family but we wanted to thank you for a great dog and congradulate you on your continued success with the breed. Our dog came from a litter of Yukon and Mirfaigh. Our vet thought she should be a show dog and really discouraged us from having her neutered, but with a daughter who is a competitive figure skater, a show dog wasn't a possibility. Murphy is an incredibly lovable pet and member of her family. My husband and I have two children ( 14 yr daughter + 11 yr son) a declawed 3 yr old cat and a 10 year old African Grey parrot. We all love Murphy (especially the parrot ,who calls, sings and reprimands Murphy). Again, Thanks for a great dog!
Sincerely, The Johnson Family

Hey Dennis! This is Claire Steinbeck, Mark and Meg's daughter. A few years ago, I accompanied my Dad to pick out one of your puppies, who we named Hunter. Hunter has a "sister" puppy of yours, Bootz. Little did I know how much I would fall in love with this rascal dogs. They are so great, with very unique (sweet, spunky, and smart all rolled into one) personalities. Recently my mom and I took Hunter and Bootz to "Dog Beach" on Lover's Key, here in the Ft. Myers area. Dogs are allowed free reign on a little secluded stretch of beach, and lots of "dog people" frequent the spot. Both dogs not only had a blast, but they made lots of new "friends" and were easily the most well-behaved (and most beautiful!) dogs on the beach! Attached are some pictures from our outing, which I thought you might want to put on your website. Thanks for such GREAT puppies! I can't wait to have one of your goldens for my own family someday. :-)

Dear Sharon and Dennis,
It Bailey (formerly identified as left hip puppy)! Pretty cool name huh? I wanted to bring you up to date about my last 10 days. Although I do miss the excitment of living with my brothers and sisters, cousins, uncles and aunts and even mom and dad, I am starting to adjust to my new life pretty good. It's much quieter here than kennel life and nights have been the longest especially for mom. I refuse to sleep in my kennel (we working on changing that) and I love the tile floors - they are so cool. Did I mention that I hate the hot weather! I will cry every time I have to go out during the day but if I do what I'm suppose to I get to go right back inside. I am getting use to my new routine and I only have to go out at 3am now and then I'm right back in bed.
I have done a pretty good job of only playing with my toys and leaving mom and dad's stuff like shoes alone. My new daddy is a push over! He says I can chew his shoelaces but mom says absolutely NOT! Guess who won - you got it - mom. I have to tell you that the greatest thing they have is this big shiny silver box and it has really good tasty stuff in it. I tried to crawl into it cause its also really cold inside but mommy says no. Speaking of cold - my new home is great! It's really big so mommy and daddy put up these noisy sensors that if I go some place I shouldn't go, an alarm goes off and they come running to see where I am. I'm not allowed upstairs yet cause I'm too little.
They also have this funny green stuff outside and at first I didn't like it at all and cried when they put me on it. Mommy told daddy to cut a part extra short and now it's ok. I really like to help daddy cut this stuff - I pull some out ever time I go outside and mommy is always taking it out of my mouth and saying no. I haven't had an accident in the house in 2 days now but mommy is learning my habits already so that's why I am getting better, I am training her pretty good. My favorite thing is to swim. I am getting pretty good at it but I still have trouble getting out of the pool, I just have to grow some more.. Also mommy likes to go for walks and I get to go but she refuses to pick me up on the way back no matter how much I cry - too much exercise if you ask me. My favorite part of the day is breakfst, lunch and dinner. I still have to learn that I am the only one eating and I don't have to share anymore. I can down a 1/2 cup of dog show in 30 seconds flat and then I get the hiccups. Mommy is working on slowing me down.
I am so exicted because I am going to get to go to daycare once mommy goes back to work and I can hardly wait to show all those other dogs all the things I have learned in the last 10 days. I can retrieve a ball at least 5 times before I am bored, I can growl and shake my toy gecko enough to give him a headache and the pink flamingo pull toy gets a work out with all the tugging and growling going on. Thursday is pay day and I get to go to the pet store and pick out a new toy. I am so excited! Well you all take care and don't worry, I am training my new family really good and life is just grand! Say hi to all the relatives back at the kennel for me.

PS. Mom and Dad said to tell you that I am perfect (also my little granddaughter Emily is great too and thinks I am so special)

Hi Dennis,
Just wanted to touch base and let you know how Sadie has been doing. She has turned into quite the little lady! Alot has happened over the past couple of months since I last sent you an email. She had her first beach experience.....which was HESTERICAL! She absolutely LOVES the water. She swims and dives like she is an olympic gold medalist. Anytime she has the chance, she jumps right in! We just had her spaid a couple of weeks ago, all went perfect and the vet removed her stiches yesterday. She is definitely still "miss popular" and she gets along really well with all the other dogs around. People just stop in their tracks to give her attention too. We also found out a couple months ago that Sadie is going to be a big sister since we are expecting our first child! The timing is perfect and by the time the baby is born Sadie will be almost a year old. She has already been around other kids and babies and she is fantastic with them. She is so loving and playful! She is everything we could possibly ask for in a family dog. Her daddy just taught her our most recient trick. As soon as he says "bang" she drops to the floor and puts all four paws in the air to play dead. We have SO much fun with her! She is so smart and funny! Her personality is amusing....she is stuborn just like me so her daddy doesnt stand a chance in a house with two stubborn women! We find out at our next appointment if this baby is a girl or a boy so we are curious to see if the tables will turn or he will end up having three against one lol. attatched are a couple of pictures from Sadie's most recient play date with her friends next door. They have a golden retriever and a flat coat retriever and Sadie has tons of fun with them. Its crazy how big she has gotten......She is 50 pounds now! Sometimes I look at her and I'm in shock wondering where my 12 pound baby that we brought home went. But she is definitely more fun now that she is older. Thanks so much for the worlds most beautiful, smart, PERFECT dog!!! We love her so much!!!!!
